Ok I just can’t take it anymore.  I have to bring it up.  Who is doing the Oakland Athletics marketing?  And more importantly how did they keep their job after their lame marketing theme of 100% Baseball last year to only dig it in the hole further?

Anyone remember when the Oakland A’s had funny commercials?  I know we don’t have Nick Swisher, Huston Street, Mark Kotsay and so on and so on anymore, but couldn’t we still be clever?  Those commercials were clever, funny and great.  Now we have 100% Thunder, 100% Back, 100% Faith, 100% Owned, and 100% Passion.  You can even vote for them on the site.  I think they should have a “none of the above cuz these suck” option.

It’s a sad day when the Giants have better commercials!  They are funny and witty!  I especially like the one on BART.  Maybe some day the A’s marketing will be that again.
